N-12® WT IB Pipe (per CSA B182.8)

The Performance You Expect. The Innovations You Need

With over 45 years of experience, ADS is an expert when it comes to drainage, providing innovative solutions for all kinds of applications. Our HDPE pipe delivers superior value while providing physical strength and structural design that just cannot be matched by traditional materials.

N-12® WT IB pipe is a gravity flow, watertight pipe ideal for storm sewers, detention systems and cross, slope or edge drains. Other applications include golf courses, sports playing fields and parking lot drainage.

Available in a complete range of sizes from 100 mm–1500 mm (4"–60") diameters, this ADS exclusive solution is third party verified to meet 74 kPa laboratory pressure and vacuum testing requirements.

These sizes, 100 mm – 1500 mm (4"–60"), are certified by an independent third party to meet the requirements of CSA B182.8.

The unique feature that sets this system apart from any other is a highly/engineered integral bell–and–spigot system that utilizes a polymer composite fused to the outside of the integral bell with a patented, factory–installed gasket. This revolutionary coupling system maintains bell dimension after installation providing uniform tolerances to/ensure the highest consistent performance not found in the corrugated pipe industry.

FEATURES & BENEFITS

  • Certified to meet Canadian Standards Association B182.8, Type 1, water–tight joint performance requirements.
  • Meets 74 kPa water pressure and vacuum lab testing requirements.
  • HS-25, HL-93 & CL-625 (highway traffic loads) rated with a minimum of 0.3 m (12") of cover for 100 mm – 1500 mm (4"–60") diameters.
  • Available in 6.1 m (20') lengths, resulting in fewer joints; custom lengths also available.
  • Bell reinforcement provides uniform support not found in the corrugated polyethylene pipe industry.
  • Fast bell–and–spigot joint assembly with unsurpassed structural integrity.
  • Superior hydraulics–smooth interior will/ensure no debris or sediment build–up.
  • Prevents contamination of soil and local waters from construction runoff sediment, lawn care products or automobile emissions.
  • Avoids possible infiltration of sands and fines resulting in sinkholes and differential settlement to adjacent structures.
